(GRAND RAPIDS, MI– October 2012) - The Second Annual GRWeddingOfficiant.com Newlywed BBQ Picnic was held Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the covered pavilion at Ideal Park in Wyoming, MI. While we had a rainy day, it was a delight to see many couples from the past several years and meet several new babies who have joined their families.
The picnic was born out of a dilemna. We've met many wonderful people and thought that many of them would become good friends with each other, but our problem was how to introduce everyone. Thus, the picnic idea was born. We hope to see everyone there next year too!

I strive to provide the professional and personal service you need when looking for a wedding celebrant for your marriage ceremony or commitment ceremony. Based in the Greater Grand Rapids, Michigan area, I'm available to perform all sorts of weddings from simple and quick marriage vows to custom weddings planned well in advance for your special day.
Ordained clergy since 2004 and a Certified Wedding Officiant, I chose the Universal Life Church because it is an advocate of religious freedom, and embraces ministers from all spiritual traditions and walks of life. This ordination allows me to perform couple-centered marriages legally in the state of Michigan that do not require couples to prescribe to a specific religious denomination.
I live in Grand Rapids and am owned by two very spoiled cats. I have an extensive collection of eclectic books, fabric and fun refrigerator magnets. I also enjoy gardening, raising obscure raspberry varieties and canning unusual jams and jellies.
